Apple Mobile
There are many Apple mobile solutions for mobile computing. I will discuss mainly the Apple iPad, iPod and iPhone devices.
The family of Apple iPads has just arrived and many people marvel at the completely new device of Steve Jobs. The Apple trusty old iPod Touch, a smaller tablet we already know, is also an interesting device. Finally another good Apple Mobile offer is the iPhone, which is pretty similar to the iPod but offer additional telephone facilities.
Apple iPad vs Apple iPod
eReading features
Clearly the Apple iPad bigger screen size is a significant plus point, especially when you want to use the device for eReading. The iPad offers the iBook store but there’s no reason to believe so far that these files aren’t transferable to the smaller devices or indeed that you definitely can’t access this app from the iPod touch.
However, even if it is surely easier to read the books with the larger screen of the iPad, you should remember that the the Apple iPad still uses a backlit display that’ll hurt your eyes a lot more than modern eReaders. If you’re really planning to use this kind of device for books, it might be better to look for a Kindle, that will also be able to display many more pages out of one battery charge.
Music Playing
Both the Apple iPad and iPod have a good support for music playing, but the tablet has got a better on-board output than the touch. There’s reference to built-in speakers plural rather than just the one although confirmation is required. If so, that would be important if you want to continue listening to music on the device in a room, which doesn’t have an audio set up and you also don’t want to be tied to your player by heaphones cable.
Video
Both machines both can play video, but the Apple tablet has the advantage of the larger screen (1024 x 768 vs 320 x 480). Moreover the iPad has XGA resolution which means that it’s got more pixels, but then, it’s a bigger screen, so it needs to have more pixels. The 3.5-inch LCD on the iPod touch may only be 320 x 480 but it has a higher pixel density.
Performance
I have found on YouTube an interesting video that compare the performance of the Apple iPad and iPod machines and you can watch it below:
Main Advantages
The advantage of the iPod is clearly the portability because you can easily carry it in your pocket. The iPad is more suitable for use at home or on a journey by air, train or ship.
One area where the iPad clearly is the winner is the Office applications, that make this machine more similar to a Netbook, You can simply add the iWork app for $9.99 and you will be able to easily use good Office applications that are not very suitable for the small keyboard and screen size of the iPod.
Apple iPod vs Apple iPhone
Another Apple mobile powerful offer is the iPhone, which is very similar and the Apple iPod Touch and runs on the same software.
However the iPod lacks some mobile features like a cellular signal, GPS, data connectivity (3G/EDGE), and of course that pesky 2-year contract with AT&T, which is required to buy an iPhone.
The iPod touch is also thinner and usually cheaper than the iPhone depending on your agreement with your service provider. The iPhone is designed to be used with a monthly service fee whereas the iPod Touch is contract-free out of the box.
However you should consider that the iPhone offers a built-in microphone, speakers and 2.0 megapixel camera, that are not available in the iPod or on the iPad.

Conclusions
The discussion above shows that Apple Mobile solutions are varied and cover many requirement for mobile computing.
You will find good and cheap offers for the above Apple mobile devices in the Mobile Computing Stores
