This 5.5lbs machine looks simple yet elegant and does not give the feeling of a cheap notebook. Under smooth pewter color matte surface there is full size keyboard. However, the keyboard lacks a dedicated numeric keypad.
The HP 630 laptop provides Wi-Fi and LAN connections, HDMI and VGA outputs, three USB ports, and an SD/MMC media card reader. Itweighs 5.5 lbs and has a chassis that is somewhat similar to the consumer-class HP g6‘s.
The HP 630 notebook uses the same piano black lid and silver keyboard deck color scheme that we’ve seen in previous 630 models, and like the earlier renditions, it has a full sized keyboard with a dedicated number pad off to the right. The keyboard has almost no flex to it and is a pleasure to type on. The recessed touchpad and dual mouse buttons match the palm rest and provide smooth, accurate cursor control and quiet clicking

The HP 630 is a relatively low cost laptop which incorporates all features required to accomplishing day to day task. We have reviewed mainly the Core i3 model but there are also cheaper versions that use instead a Celeton 1.60 Ghz processor.
Features that stand out in HP 630 notebook are – HDMI port and 4GB RAM in a single slot.
